6. From Factory to Villa: Eight Classic Rope Chairs
Story about eight classic rope chairs. Sometimes, the best stories start from a simple message.
A few months ago, while checking our company website, we noticed a new inquiry left in the message box. The customer was interested in one of our outdoor chairs — a model that caught his eye while browsing our collection. As we started the conversation, we learned more about his plan: he wanted to use the chairs to decorate his villa in Thailand, pairing them with a beautiful table he already had, right beside his swimming pool.
It wasn’t a large order — just eight classic rope chairs. And it wasn’t a standard one either. He wanted a customized design that would perfectly match his outdoor setting. For some manufacturers, such a small and custom request might not be worth the effort. But for us, the answer was simple: if it’s something the customer needs, and we can make it happen — why not?
Crafting the Right Fit
Once we confirmed the details, our team began working on material selection and color matching. The customer had a very clear vision — a specific texture and tone that would complement his poolside table. After rounds of sampling, testing, and fine-tuning, we finalized a combination that balanced style, comfort, and durability — the core values we stand for at ZP Seating.
The chair’s frame was made of commercial-grade aluminum, fully welded for structural strength, and coated for long-term outdoor use, with classic black polyester rattan. The customized materials were chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their resistance to heat, humidity, and fading — essential qualities for Thailand’s tropical climate. Each part of the chair went through careful inspection to ensure it met our commercial-quality standards, the same standards we apply for hotel, café, and resort projects worldwide.
Built to Last — and Made to Belong
At ZP Seating, we’ve always believed that outdoor furniture should do more than just look good. It should withstand time, weather, and daily use, while still bringing a sense of warmth and beauty to its environment. That’s why even for a small project like this, our process never changes — we build every piece with the same dedication to durability and detail.
When these eight classic rope chairs were completed, we sent them off to Thailand. A month later, we received messege from the customer — not with words at first, but with photos. There they were: our eight classic rope chairs, beautifully set beside his pool, glowing under the tropical sun.
He wrote, “I liked them with the table. When I saw it on your website, I knew they would match well.”
It’s in these moments that we feel the meaning behind what we do. We build the chairs, and our customers complete them. These eight chairs are now part of a beautiful villa in Thailand — a small project that means a lot to us.

More Than Furniture
This story isn’t just about one order. It’s about how design travels — from our factory to someone’s everyday life. It’s about the connection between craftsmanship and living spaces, between what we create and how people use it.
Whether it’s a large-scale commercial project or a small custom order, our goal remains the same: to deliver outdoor furniture that blends strength, comfort, and individuality.
And when we see our work become part of someone’s world — by their pool, on their patio, or in their café — that’s the most rewarding part of all.
